Echoview Fiber Mill

Echoview Fiber Mill is a sustainable, 78-acre working farm and a Gold LEED Certified Mill based in Asheville, North Carolina. The operation is a spinning mill, knitting operation and design house that makes exceptionally high quality and beautifully designed home goods, accessories and craft knitting and weaving using natural fibers like alpaca, wool, silk, mohair and organic cotton. Echoview is committed to sustainability and derives roughly 50% of its electricity from solar panels, sources materials locally and domestically from renewable resources, and saves and reuses waste from the manufacturing process. Echoview is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace and ensuring a fair living wage.

In 2005, founder Julie Jensen's compassion for the planet, love of textiles and ecology led to her building the first Gold LEED Certified fiber mill in the USA in Weaverville, North Carolina. Julie relocated to Asheville after falling in love with a small farm there and started Echoview Farm in 2005. The mill operation started in 2012, with the idea of creating a space that could help other small fiber farmers add value to the fleeces of their fiber animals.
